The NJQRP Kitting Team did a real nice job in making up the SoftRock-40 Kit.  In order to keep the overall job manageable, more quickly kitted and clear for the builder, we broke it up into four "sub-kitting" efforts:  Resistors, Capacaitors, Semiconductors and Miscellaneous.  Each volunteer sub-kitter was sent the raw parts and he created 400 bags containing the right number of parts. Each then mailed his respective 400 bags to a fifth guy for final collection into a single bag, envelope-stuffing, addressing, stamping and mailing.

The Sub-Bags, arranged clock-wise starting at top: Misc, Resistors, Semiconductors, Brief Instructions, Capacitors.

Miscellaneous Bag contains the audio and RF coax, pcb, connectors, mag wire and inductors.

"WHO DUN IT?"

The five sub-kitters for the 400 kits done in Round 1 were: Bob KC2GKG (caps), Gerry N2GJ & Connie N2ATJ (misc), Mark KC2ENI (semi), Ed WA3WSJ (resistors), and Byan AA3WM (final assy & mailing).

The five sub-kitters currently working on completing the 400 kits for Round 2 are: Bob KC2GKG (caps), Howard K3HW (misc), Ted W2TAG (semi), Dave WA2DJN & Tony W2GUM (resistors), and Bryan AA3WM (final assy & mailing).

Parts ordering was all handled by the main designer for the SoftRock-40 project: Tony Parks, KB9YIG.  Thanks Tony, what a load off our shoulders!

Thanks to all the kitters for such a fine job!  We're sure the SoftRock-40 customers are going to appreciate the care and attention you all put into making the kits happen.
